Portland, 6/3: Bad Company’s Tag Tournament Win Is Spoiled By The Honor Society & Quiz Triumphs In Extreme 3 Challenge!
Just as they’d promised, Dr. Kliever & Exile, the unit known as Bad Company, successfully steamrolled over 4 formidable teams in their route to claiming the title of the very first DOA Pacific Northwest Memorial Tag Team Cup Winners! However, they were not to relish in their spoils for long, as just after Dr. Kliever dedicated the win to his trainer and mentor, “Mr. Old School Himself” Sandy Barr, the DOA Tag Team Champions The Honor Society along with their new associate, “Gentleman” George Michael, stormed into the ring, attacking Bad Company with assorted weapons before concluding their callous assault by destroying the newly won tournament trophy!
DOA Owner Terry Farness was so disgusted by the actions of The Honor Society that he made a match between them and Bad Company for the DOA Tag Team Titles at the Fan Appreciation Night on Sunday, July 22 in Troutdale at the DOA Training Center…and added the caveat of allowing Bad Company to choose the stipulation! Doc quickly answered Terry’s call to action, announcing that they would face The Honor Society in brutal “Submissions Only” match!
Quiz sealed the deal in the “Extreme 3″ Challenge, defeating “The Devil Himself” Derek Drexl in a harrowing “Extreme Lumberjack” match that saw both men beat each other brutally and also face the wrath of the weapon wielding Lumberjacks outside the ring. Quiz, however, was able to overcome these circumstances and defeat Drexl, earning himself a DOA Title match against Champion Ethan HD at the Fan Appreciation Night in Troutdale!
