Though he hasn’t competed in many matches in DOA Pro Wrestling, Jorel Nelson plans
to make a big splash, and though he is inexperienced, his chiseled physique and brash
attitude both certainly suggest that he may have the tools necessary to make a mark in
DOA.

Debuting against Bubba Blanchard late in 2011 in a losing effort, Jorel managed to gain
his first victory in a 9 man, 3 team tag match at DOA The Fight Before Christmas in
December 2011 along with The J & E Experience, and took his licks in the DOA
Hardcore Rumble in January. Perhaps feeling that he needed to take drastic steps to break
out from the pack, Jorel teamed with veteran Christopher Ryseck to defeat Jorel’s trainer
Aaron Bolo and Brickhouse Beretta at DOA Madness in March 2012. The following month,
Jorel managed to defeat “The Seoul Survivor” in a one-on-one encounter.

Wherever Jorel’s career in DOA takes in the coming years, the rookie certainly seems
like one to watch as his experience expands and his talents grow.

A original DOA roster member and the founding father of The Illuminati, “The Devil Himself” Derek Drexl has been both hated and loved by the DOA fans.

From day one, Derek Drexl had the goal of total domination of DOA Pro Wrestling leading his Illuminati to the top of the roster. Leading men like Wade Hess, Wage Reichten, and Havoc in feuds against J-Sin Sullivan, Thunder, Christina Von Eerie, and anyone who would stand against The Illuminati during the early days of DOA.

At first hated by the DOA fans, things began to change as the fans began to respect the no BS hardcore violence the Illuminati brought to each and every match. As members came and left, a new fan favorite Illuminati formed with founding members Derek Drexl and Wade Hess along with Thunder and HBQ Quiz.

Forming a tag team, Derek Drexl and HBQ Quiz embarked in a feud with The Altar Nation. The war between the two factions peaked with a brutal War Games match between The Illuminati, Altar Nation, and The OR-CAL Connection. With the dispute with Altar Nation finally settled, The Illuminati now focused their attentions on The OR-CAL Connection, and over the course of 2010, various combinations of ORCAL and The Illuminati battled in a wide array of matches including defeating them for the Tag Team Championships in a 75 hr “Wrestling With Hunger” event. In a Loser Leaves town match, “The Devil Himself” came up short against Jeremy Blanchard after outside interference from his brother Bubba, and was forced to leave DOA.

Having been forced out of the Pacific Northwest, “The Devil Himself” left for sunny Florida and began training at Florida Championship Wrestling (the WWE Developmental Territory) and wrestling for various promotions in the south east.

After more then a year’s absence, Derek Drexl returned to DOA and shocked the Northwest when he turned against his best friend and partner, HBQ Quiz, costing him both the DOA and Elite Championships and 6 months of his career in Quiz’s own “Loser Leaves Town” match against Ethan HD.

Declaring that he started the Illuminati and he would end it, Drexl joined the Elite and was awarded the Elite Championship. Drexl fought alongside The Elite in War Games for control of DOA, but after the Elite’s loss, Derek blamed manager Mike Sweetser and once again walked away from DOA.

June 1st, 2nd and 3rd, Drexl returns again to DOA to do battle against his former best friend and tag partner, HBQ, in the Extreme 3 Challenge! Will Quiz survive? Or will “The Devil Himself” accomplish his goal of saving Quiz from himself by causing Quiz to own up to his promise to leave DOA and wrestling forever should he lose?
