Due to circumstances beyond our control, Big Ugly will not be able to appear at this Saturday night’s live event at the Kliever Armory in Portland. Big Ugly WILL be back in action next month on Friday, January 20th in Keizer, and on Saturday, January 21st at the 2012 DOA Rumble!

As a result, the lineup for this Saturday’s show will now see the first ever three-way three-man tag team match in DOA Pro Wrestling history! The Illuminati – Thunder, Wade Hess and their newest member, Bubba Blanchard – will face the team of the J&E Experience and newcomer Jorel Nelson, and the team of the DOA tag team champions Rock & Roll Fantasy and their partner, Chuck Payne!

In addition, one half of Ugly As Sin will still be in singles competition, as J_SIN Sullivan squares off against Pacific Northwest wrestling legend CW Bergstrom!

Don’t miss the great action from DOA Pro Wrestling this Saturday night at the Kliever Armory in Portland! Ethan HD will defend the DOA heavyweight title against the unpredictable “Ravenous” Randy Myers, and CJ Edwards has twenty minutes to take the DOA Pure Wrestling championship away from Mike Santiago! All this, plus the DOA Pro Wrestling debut of El Phantasmo! Don’t you dare miss the best pro wrestling action in the Pacific Northwest from DOA Pro Wrestling!

The coming of Fit Finlay to DOA Pro Wrestling was a welcome and long-awaited sight for the raucous crowd at the Kliever Armory on November 19th – and he and his partner Dr. Kliever did not disappoint! Finlay’s fire and Irish temper and Kliever’s size and strength were more than a match for Ugly As Sin, and even though J_SIN Sullivan and Big Ugly were able to isolate Finlay for a time, Finlay made the tag, and Kliever polished off Ugly with a vicious Autopsy for the pinfall victory in a wild main event!

Kliever and Finlay celebrated, and Kliever left Finlay in the ring to allow him to thank the fans that came to see him.. when all of a sudden, Ethan HD slid into the ring and attacked Finlay from behind, angry that he was in the main event instead of the DOA heavyweight champion! Ethan attempted to use a chair on Finlay, but Finlay ducked out of the ring and sent Ethan packing from the ring! A furious Finlay immediately challenged Ethan to face him on January 21st at the DOA Rumble – a match that has officially been signed! Ethan HD *will* defend the DOA heavyweight title against Fit Finlay on January 21st at the 2012 DOA Rumble!

Before he was able to try to steal the spotlight from Fit Finlay, though, Ethan HD had a much bigger problem – the six-foot-eight monster known as Exile, who came to the ring with Ethan’s DOA heavyweight championship belt in his hands! Exile used his obvious size and power advantage to throw Ethan from pillar to post, but after Exile injured his ribs during the match, the champion capitalized on the injury. Using bodyscissors and stiff kicks to the rib, Ethan wore down Exile near the point of defeat, until Exile was able to power up and send Ethan flying from the ring! Ethan tried to bring the DOA heavyweight title belt into the ring, but was cut off by the referee and Exile, who sent Ethan out once again. The referee removed the title belt from play, but as he was doing so, Ethan HD jabbed a cattle prod into Exile’s stomach and flipped the switch, sending hundreds of thousands of volts of electricity coursing through Exile’s body! An incapaciated Exile was a sitting duck for Ethan, who added insult to injury by hitting Exile with his own finishing move, the spear, for the tainted victory!

The month of November means it’s time for Survivor Series elimination tag team action, and November 19th saw two matches of teams striving to survive! Team Canada was led to the ring by the “Canadian executive ambassador” The Natural, who introduced his team of Azeem The Dream, the Honky Tonk Kid, the unpredictable Ravenous Randy, and former Elite member Cole Bishop, as they took on Team USA comprised of Jeremy Blanchard, CW Bergstrom and DOA tag team champions Rock & Roll Fantasy! Team USA seemed to be off to a great start as Patrick Large took advantage and pinned Ravenous Randy with a Bombs Away, only to become a smear on the mat thanks to a thunderous Bishop Bomb. The teams again exchanged eliminations with The Honky Tonk Kid pinning Large’s partner Rockin’ Ricky Gibson after the Shake, Rattle & Roll, only to fall prey to Bergstrom’s famed full nelson! When Bergstrom tried the same move on Azeem, Natural distracted Bergstrom and Azeem sent him crashing into the ringsteps, where he was counted out! Blanchard fought valiantly against two competitors, pinning Azeem and fighting hard against Bishop, who despite various high-impact moves, could not score the deciding three-count! Finally, Natural and Bishop resorted to their typical underhanded tactics, planting a chain on Blanchard and acting as if Bishop had been knocked silly by it, and the referee fell for it, disqualifying Blanchard and giving Bishop and Team Canada the victory. Blanchard would not stand for it, and immediately challenged Bishop to a one-on-one encounter on December 10th in Portland!

The second Survivor Series elimination match was a mystery for some, as each team had unannounced partners – the team of the Left Coast Casanovas and Kellen Raeth chose the masked J&E Experience as their partners, while the Illuminati and CJ Edwards went outside of DOA, recruiting Chuck Payne and the debuting Dave Turner on their side! That inexperience in DOA may have cost the Illuminati team, as both Turner and Payne were quickly eliminated.. but Wade Hess equalized things by immediately pinning “Eric Rong” with the Last Call! The ongoing feud between CJ Edwards and Kellen Raeth spilled over into this match, as after a suicide dive by CJ, both men brawled to the backstage area and were counted out, leaving the Illuminati in a three-on-two scenario. However, this is what Wade Hess and Thunder like best, and they struck back quickly, eliminating Draven Vargas after the Hangover, and doubleteaming “Ronas Albert Jobberson” into oblivion, leaving Nate Andrews all alone! Andrews was bounced around like a pinball by the Illuminati, before taking his ball and going home, walking out of the match and being counted out, giving the win to the Illuminati!

However, Bubba Blanchard would not let what Andrews did go unpunished! Bubba dragged both Andrews and his valet, MJ Aurora, to the ring, and forced both into an intergender handicap match! Bubba had no problem smacking Andrews around, but refused to hit a woman, even after MJ would repeatedly choke him and try to break up attempts at pinfalls. However, even Bubba’s patience can wear thin, and after MJ attacked Bubba’s eyes, Blanchard snapped, throwing Aurora into the ropes and flattening her with a double axhandle for the pinfall! After the victory, Wade Hess and Thunder came to the ring, and welcomed Bubba Blanchard as the newest member of the Illuminati!

Mike Santiago demanded new competition for his DOA Pure Wrestling championship, and he got all he could handle in Portland, as he defended the gold against former NWA Canadian junior heavyweight champion Artemis Spencer! Spencer and Santiago matched hold for hold and move for move in a possible match of the year candidate that brought the crowd in Portland to their feet! Santiago’s usual tactics of holding out for the time limit didn’t work, as the match had a twenty minute time limit, and Spencer seemed to just get stronger as the usual ten minute length of the match went by! But finally, Santiago’s famed roaring elbows found their mark, and after a missed dive by Spencer, Santiago turned his lights out with another roaring elbow for the pinfall to retain the gold! Santiago can rest knowing the DOA Pure Wrestling title is still around his waist, but he better not rest for long, as his long-time rival, CJ Edwards, will be waiting for him on December 10th in Portland, and this time, the match will have a 20-minute time limit!

In other action from Portland, the returning Aaron Bolo defeated Calibur X with the Korean Drop, and the returning Christopher Ryseck scored the pin over the rookie Brickhouse Bereta.

DOAProWrestling.com has received an important announcement from DOA promoter Terry Farness – due to the heinous sneak attack on November 19th by Ethan HD on Fit Finlay, Farness has ordered that on Saturday night, January 21st, at the 2012 DOA Rumble at the Kliever Armory in Portland, Ethan HD will defend the DOA heavyweight championship against Fit Finlay!

Can Ethan HD back up his boasts that he is the best wrestler in the Northwest and the only man worthy of holding the DOA heavyweight championship.. or will Fit Finlay leave Portland victorious once again, but this time, wearing the green and gold of the DOA heavyweight championship belt? Find out on Saturday night, January 21st at the 2012 DOA Rumble – which will also feature the DOA Rumble event itself, as all the top superstars in DOA Pro Wrestling fight to become the number one contender to the DOA heavyweight championship – whether the champion is Ethan HD, or Fit Finlay!
