MAIN EVENT
No Rope Lumberjack Match HBQ vs RockGod Ricky Gibson in a battle nearly a year in the making, HBQ Quiz faces RockGod Ricky Gibson in a No Rope Lumberjack! For months the Rockgod seemed to have the answer to beat Quiz using both Janice his guitar and the ropes to beat HBQ. Tired of the shenanigans Quiz snapped and laid out Ricky with his own Guitar causing Ricky to file a restraining order against Quiz claiming unsafe working conditions. Even with a restraining order Quiz kept under Gibson's skin by distracting and even superkicking the RockGod causing him to lose in other matches. Sick of the order not being enforced Gibson and his Band the 4 Minutes of Heat brutally attacked Quiz after his Grand Championship match and literally choked him out with ring ropes after Ricky ripped down the top section. DOA Management have decided the only way to settle this is in the ring and due to the beatdown Quiz was given his choice of matches and he chose the No Rope Lumberjack match which has only been done one other time in DOA's History! Will Quiz finally get the Vengeance he seeks or will The Rockgod and his Band once again use any means necessary to end this feud once and for all!
DOA Grand Championship
Triple Threat Rules Mike Santiago vs Wade Hess vs Johnny Paradise Mike Santiago has proven that nothing will stand in the way of his DOA Grand Championship Reign including friendship as he left his Pulp Fiction Tag Team partner Quiz to the wolves as Ricky Gibson and his Band jumped HBQ after his Grand Championship bout against Santiago. Since winning the Title in February Santiago has defended the championship and defeated the best in the Northwest one by one. Well things change this time as he defends the DOA Grand Championship in a triple threat for the first time since winning the strap. Wade Hess and Johnny Paradise decided to have it out one on one to prove who the #1 contender to the Highest honor in DOA but never got to finish what they started as Paradise's former associates came to the ring attacking both men and causing the match to be thrown out. Thinking they were hurting Johnny in reality they just ended up guarantying Paradise a spot for the DOA Grand Gold. Meanwhile Wade Hess is the former multi time Champion who had never received his rematch after loosing the strap last year. Will Santiago continue to prove why he's the best and be able to defeat 2 men, or will July 22nd be the crowning of a new king of DOA in the form of Wade Hess or Johnny Paradise
#1 Contender Gauntlet for the DOA Grand Championship
Dr. Luther vs Eric Right vs Dominik Hess vs CJ Edwards vs Draven Vargas vs Ravonous Randy 6 former Champions in DOA will all collide in a Gauntlet for the #1 Contendership to the Grand Championship Gold. The Rules are simple, the match begins with 2 competitors drawn randomly with the winner staying and the loser out of the match. Each man will have to be on the top of their game because they have no idea who they will be facing or how many matches they'll have to survive to win! The participants are as followed Dr. Luther - Former DOA Grand Champion and Japaneese Death Match Legend. The Biggest and most experienced man in this match Luther has proven to still be at the top of his game in the squared circle Eric Right - The Former Gentlemen Brawler has held just about every Title in DOA including the Tag, Pure, and Heavyweight Championship. With a new mean streak and lack of compassion for any of his opponents Mr. Right plans to prove why he's constantly been a Top Star in the Pacific Northwest Dominik Hess - The youngest man in the match is the 2nd generation star and former DOA Tag Team Champion with his Dad Wade Hess. Since losing the Tag Titles Dominik has been sent out into the world to become his own man and if the lil underdog was to win this match it could change his destiny in a huge way CJ Edwards - The most accomplished high flyer in DOA history, CJ has held the Tag Titles and helped push the Pure Championship to one of the most sought after belts in the PNW. The never say die Edwards has set his sights on even higher achievements and plans on souring to the DOA Grand Championship Draven Vargas - The former multi Time Tag Team Champion has been a mainstay in DOA for years having faced everyone and anyone who's came through the DOA locker room. Draven looks to cleanse the PNW of the sins that have plagued the wrestling scene and no better way then wearing the DOA Grand Championship around his waist Ravenous Randy - The Weirdo Hero of DOA is a former Tag Team Champion and has held gold throughout Canada including the ECCW Championship. Randy wants to show the world you don't have to play by the mainstream rules and wants to be a DOA Grand Champion that all can be proud of
DOA Tag Team Championship
The Chaos Theory (Drexl and Udo) vs The Co-Best (Damon James and Kellen Raeth) w/Mr.Tubbs Last month the underdogs The Chaos Theory's Drexl and Udo shocked the DOA fans when they beat James and Raeth for the DOA Tag Team Championship after The Co-Best had been on a run beating everyone the last 4 months. Damon and Kellen have passed blame on Mr. Tubbs saying he was a distraction after he got beat up by Karleena Gore and say the fluke won't happen again as they get their rematch against Drexl and Udo who will be without Karleena after the Co-Best injured her at last month's event. Will the Bully's of DOA Raeth and James continue to push everyone around or will the freaks truly inherit the earth as Drexl and Udo hold on to the belts!
DOA Pure Wrestling Championship - Special 20 Minute Time Limit
Champion Julian Whyt vs Dr Kliever 2 of the top technicians in the PNW collide in a rematch from last month's event. At Ruthless Reputation Whyt and Kliever fought to the 15 minute time limit but just as the bell rang it was Dr. Kliever in control about to slam down the champion Whyt with his dreaded Autopsy 2 handed choke slam. Will Julian's high flying excitement be able to counter the strength of Kliever or will the Dr with the worst bed side manners resort to any trick in the book to win the one belt in DOA that has eluded him. And how will the extra 5 minutes of time effect each man's performance?
Winner Gets MJ
Patrick Large vs Caden Cassidy MJ is Special Guest Referee It's been a long strange year for Patrick Large his wife MJ and Caden Cassidy. First Cassidy kidnaps MJ from Pat, then Pat steals her back and then the 2 men go to war for MJ's attention. Then in January at Stairway to Stardom as Pat and Caden squared off with the winner getting MJ, the match ended up a draw and MJ declared herself the winner and took both men to their shock. Since January the 3some have referred to themselves as The Thrupple (triple couple) and have attempted to form a cohesive team but were forced to break up after losing to Draven Vargas and Srg Mike Everest last month. Still not knowing who to choose MJ has declared that they face off again but this time she will be the ref in charge to make sure there is a winner. Will Patrick Large get his wife and normal ham sandwich making life back, or will the White Girl Kryptonite Caden Cassidy get the object of his desire in MJ?

June 17th Portland Oregon 1st Match DOA Tag-Team Championship The Chaos Theory (Drexl & Udo w/Karleena Gore) vs. The Co-Best (Damon James & Kellen Raeth w/Al Tubbs Esq. & Johnny Paradise) What better way to kick off a show than with a tag-team championship match. This match was exciting throughout as The Chaos Theory looked to win the tag-team championships from the The Co-Best. As usual, this match would feature Drexl turning to his unorthodox and demented ways to attempt to gain an advantage. During the closing moments of the match, Al Tubbs would involve himself by jumping up on the ring apron which would prompt Karleena to run over and knock him off. Kellen noticed Karleena’s attack on Tubbs and in response drug Karleena into the ring and kneed her in the head then proceeded to toss her to Damon who give her a “Last Ride” style powerbomb, driving her full strength and full force into the mat. With Damon and Kellen focused on an unconscious Karleena, Udo would take advantage of the time and as Kellen tried to pin him, Udo small packaged Kellen scoring the pinfall for his team thus winning the DOA Tag-Team Championship for The Chaos Theory. After the match Karleena would be carried out by Drexl. 2nd Match “Top Choice” Todd Royce (w/Instig8tor) vs. Dominik Hess This match was all about Todd Royce trying to teach some respect to up-and-comer Dominik Hess. Before the match began, Todd would give Dom a public lecture in front of the DOA fans about his ways. Once the match started, Dom would put up as much of a fight as he could against the massive Todd Royce. Near the end of the match, Istig8tor would distract Dominik which would lead to Royce putting Dom into a devastating Boston Crab in which Dom would be forced to submit. After the bell rang however Royce refused to let go of Dom even with the referee pulling on him trying to get him to let go. Instig8tor would come in at this point and shove the referee then would proceed to toss him out of the ring. After the ref got back to his feet, he would reverse the decision awarding the victory to Dominik. This would upset Royce and in his fit of rage would grab the ref, who was now checking on Dom, and would toss him a second time out of the ring before finally leaving. 3rd Match Eric Right vs. CJ Edwards This match began with Eric Right coming out to the ring acting blind with a cane and sunglasses to mock the injury CJ Edwards received from the fireball Eric threw at him in May. CJ would then rush the ring which would send Eric scrambling to the outside to avoid a beat down. Once Eric got back in and the match officially started, CJ was all over Eric. All he wanted was to get revenge on Eric for the fireball. The match would come to and when Eric would catch CJ with a piledriver and score the pinfall. Eric wasn’t done there however, he continued the beat down after the match and would deliver two more piledrivers to CJ which would result in CJ being carried out of the ring. 4th Match 3-on-2 Handicap Match The Morality Squad (Draven Vargas & Srg. Mike Everest) vs. The Thrupple (Pat Large, Caden Cassidy, and MJ) This was an important match for The Thrupple, if they lost the match, they would have to disband. Ending this unholy threesome was Draven Vargas’s ultimate goal, and to ensure he could get the job done, he recruited border patrol Sgt. Mike Everest as his partner. Vargas knew he could count on Everest’s size and moral views to aid him in his battle. Everest didn’t disappoint either, he would help Vargas dominate a large portion of the match. During the final moments, Everest would attempt to squash MJ against one of the ring posts on the outside of the ring. Cassidy would then sacrifice himself to save MJ by shoving her out of the way and taking the splash from Everest. Everest would toss Cassidy back into the ring who would then be pinned by Vargas to end the match and thus end the team known as The Thrupple. 5th Match #1 Contender for DOA Grand Championship Johnny Paradise (w/Co-Best & Al Tubbs Esq.) vs. Wade Hess Johnny Paradise would come to the ring followed by his groupies Co-Best and Al Tubbs. After Hess got into the ring and before the match started, Paradise would do something unexpected, he would eject Kellen, Damon, and Tubbs from ringside himself. This decision gathered a lot of support from the fans at ringside, erupting in applause and cheers at the sight of The Co-Best going to the back. The match between Hess and Paradise was hard fought and honorable, with each competitor showing why they deserve to be the #1 Contender to the Grand Championship. At one point during the match, The Co-Best would reemerge through the curtain and make their way to the ring. They would then get into the ring to consult Paradise who wasn’t very happy to see them. As Paradise would turn his back to Kellen and Damon to focus his attention back on Hess, The Co-Best and Tubbs would proceed to attack Paradise and Hess. After a beat down of both competitors, The Co-Best left and the referees would attempt to help Hess and Paradise to their feet. Once up, Paradise and Hess would shake hands before making their way to the back. 6th Match 3-on-2 Handicap Match 4 Minutes Of Heat (“Rockgod” Ricky Gibson, Eddie VanGlam, & Sandy Cole) vs. The Repaired (Dr. Luther & Ravenous Randy) Ricky Gibson and his band members Eddie VanGlam and Sandy Cole would make their way to the ring. Ricky wasn’t coming out to wrestle, he was coming out to get some stuff of his chest and speak his mind about his problems with Quiz. Suddenly the music of The Repaired hit and before long Dr. Luther and Randy Myers would make their way to the ring. They would proceed to challenge all three members of the band to a handicap match witch would quickly be made official and would begin. It was a back and forth contest but in the end, The Repaired would overcome the odds and pick up the victory. 7th Match DOA Pure Championship Dr. Kliever vs. Julian Whyt The DOA Pure Championship match was one of the most exciting matches of the night with Julian Whyt and Dr. Kliever fighting over one of the top championships in the Northwest. These two laid everything on the table in an attempt to take home the belt. Unfortunately for the competitors, time wasn’t on their side. With only seconds left before the 15 minute time limit expired, Kliever would hit Whyt with an Autopsy but the bell would ring before the three count could be made, ending the match in a draw. Due to this, Whyt would retain the Pure Championship. Main Event DOA Grand Championship HBQ Quiz vs. Mike Santiago The main event was a match that had high expectations as Quiz and Mike Santiago have had many amazing matches in the past, so everyone knew that what they were about to see was going to be great. Like all their matches in the past, this match didn’t disappoint, it was full of hard hits and near falls that kept everyone on the edge of their seats. In the end, Mike would hit Quiz with a devastating knee to the face that would knock Quiz out long enough for Mike to score the pinfall and retain the Championship. After the match, Ricky Gibson and the 4 Minutes of Heat would surround the ring with Santiago and Quiz inside still. For a minute, it looked like Santiago and Quiz were going to make a stand as a team once again. Just as everyone thought they were going to get a Pulp Fiction reunion, Mike showed his true colors and abandoned Quiz in the ring to fight Ricky’s band on his own. The 4 Minutes of Heat would then destroy Quiz as for about four minutes, they would beat the hell out of Quiz including choking him out with the ring ropes Ricky had ripped down. After they had done enough and left, members of the locker room would come out to the ring to help aid Quiz. Quiz wasn’t about to be carried out of the ring though. Even after the beating, Quiz would push everyone away and attempt to leave the building on his own two feet. |
