At DOA Halloween Hysteria Pacific Northwest and Japanese Hardcore Legend Dr. Luther returned for the first time in over 6 years to the ring for the inaugural "Dr Luther Tricks and Treats Rumble". After winning the huge match DOA Grand Champion always the outspoken one decided to not only tell the Legendary Luther to raise his hand but also had a few choice words. He called the Dr an old washed up has been and told him to get out of his ring. Luther never one to back down from a little verbal sparring stood tall.  But as Ethan tried sucker punching Luther the man who made a living terrorizing Japan fired back knocking Ethan out cold with a jumping front kick and then called all the fans to the ring to chant DOA as he powerbombed the brash HD in the center of the ring and challenged him for the DOA Dec 17th event.

So the DOA Board of directors signed the match and made it for the DOA Grand Championship which is huge...but it may not be big enough for Ethan HD. After defeating CJ Edwards at Give till it hurts, Ethan and the rest of SHAFT had a lot to say about Twas the fight before Christmas with Ethan laying out a special challenge in return to Dr Luther. Ethan HD wants the career of Dr. Luther!! and is so confident that he is willing to put up his own career along with the DOA Grand Championship up in return. The DOA Board of Directors have been in contact with Dr. Luther and his response was simple "Lets Do This!"

So it is on Career vs Career and for the DOA Grand Championship. One man will rule DOA and the other will be GONE!

King Khash did what no one else has been able to do since winning the Pure Championship he beat Eric Right, but it was by count out so he did not win the title. 
(we have been told by fans Manny Rios was holding Eric Rights foot so he could not get back in the ring but DOA have not found any video footage to review)
Khash has said that Eric was running scared and following the traditional Pure Wrestling Championship rules in this rematch if Eric Right is counted out again he will lose the Pure Championship.

Will Khash use his SHAFT partners once again to help him secure gold or will Eric Right prove that with a pure heart and a warriors spirit The Gentlemen Brawler will remain the DOA Pure Champion?

Patrick Large vs "White Girl Kryptonite" Caden Cassidy 

At DOA 8 after beating  Patrick Large, Caden Cassidy claimed Pat's Wife MJ as his and carried her off kidnapping her for nearly a month (which we here at DOA are not sure if she even realized she was kidnapped). Then at Halloween Hysteria after being eliminated in the Rumble Pat took the opportunity and rescued MJ from Caden's clutches and back home.

Well at Give till it hurts it continued as Caden stole back Mj at the begging the show and Pat stole her back at the end. Both men want MJ, and Mj in her own little world really seems just to always be happy and hungry but Caden and Pat have decided to settle this mess in a winner takes all match at Twas the fight before Christmas

Since winning The DOA Tag Team Championships in August Kliver and Carney have said they had an open challenge but have managed to only defend the belts once back in September and loss tha match via DQ to the team of Drexl and Rollins.

The Board of Directors have let thing slide long enough and have decided its time for The Champions to prove if they are worthy to hold the belts as they must defend against 5 other teams in a Tag Team Gauntlet Match. The Match starts with 2 teams, who ever wins stays in the ring and faces the next team until there is only one team left standing.

The Order will be selected randomly but every one of these teams have a chance to over throw Surgical Steel and Sex Appeal. The Cunninghams are the former DOA Tag Team Champions who held the belt for over 11 months. The Hess Dynasty have been on a roll as of late and last month Wade pinned Kliever in the Survivor Series Team Battle. Drexl and Rollins have one victory over Kliever and Carney and have all the experience and hardcore will to beat them again. The Final team is a little different, Due to a lawsuit from Rusty Diamond over the lack of wheel Chair access in the DOA ring, DOA agreed to pay what the wizards are called "Rustitution" and part of the agreement was a Tag Team Title Match. With Rusty Still injured Nick Radford has selected his replacement partner in Your Salvation Draven Vargas and man who's held tag team gold with several partners in the history of DOA.

Will the Champions leave holding the belt or will the odds be stacked against them as we see posibly new DOA Tag Team Champions crowned

Mike Santiago vs Johnny Paradise

Santiago has made no bones about it he is gunning for Ethan and the Grand Championship and has gone thru every member of SHAFT to get that opportunity.

Johnny Paradise made the entire DOA locker room take notice by not just  beating HBQ Quiz in a fight but doing it in such a violent way. Ethan has requested the services of Paradise asking him to do the same to Santiago.

Will Mike set his sights on Ethan or will Paradise continue to shock the PNW with his willingness to do anything for a win

Lil Chocolate Drop CJ Edwards vs Mansom Manny Rios

At Give till it hurts CJ Edwards was within inches of winning the DOA Grand Championship if not for a knocked out referee. Wanting a rematch against Ethan first he has to go thru the most Mansom Man in The Biz Mansom Manny Rios

Manny made his name in DOA as part of SHAFT in tag team action with Kassius Koonz who has since been fired from DOA. Looking to make his name on the singles side The Mansom one plans on using Edwards as the first step on his climb to dominance

HBQ Quiz  vs  RockGod Ricky Gibson

These 2 former Pure Champions clash again but they didnt come to wrestle in the "Pure" sense of the word. Quiz was knocked out cold by Gibson's Guitar in September and says he plans on knocking out the RockGod as a payback. Gibson says that HBQ is the star of the past and plans on using him to once again propell himself to the Headlining spot on DOA Events

 Riddick  vs  Julian Whyte

Riddick has one thing on his mind since DOA 8 and thats revenge on J-Sin Sullivan and has gone as far as using the Sinners old moves as way of showing that Riddick is not only better then Sullivan but he's here to stay

Julian Whyte made his Debut last month and was only a missed moonsault away from getting a huge win in his first time in DOA. Whyte has shown not only is he big and athletic but can also fly with guys half the sizes of him

So in there first meeting ever it's the Big Brawling Riddick vs the young Super Athlete Whyte with the winner moving up the DOA rankings.

First off we here at DOA want to thank the great fans that came out and donated so many wonderful toys that were on all the Wattles Boys and Girls Holiday lists

Now on to the Results

Mike Santiago defeated Manny Rios

Santiago is a man on a mission since losing the last man standing match against King Khash via interference from his former American Gunz partner Ethan HD. Mike has said he will go whomever he has to in order to get a shot at the DOA Grand Champion.

Ethan sent fellow SHAFT (Smart, Handsome, and Freakin Talented) member Mansom Manny RIos to try and take out Santiago but The Mansom one came up short after receiving Mike's HellKneeno jumping knee to the nose and being pinned for the 3 count

Pat Large w/MJ defeated Julian Whyt

Pat's had a rough 2016 losing his tag team partner in Draven Vargas then having his wife MJ kidnapped by Caden Cassidy. But always ready to fight back Pat rescued his wife at Halloween Hysteria and was now back on course to victory

The Debuting Julian Whyt is young up and comer in the Pacific Northwest. Having trained with legends like The Grappler and Buddy Wayne. Julian has come to DOA to show what a natural born athlete he is and did just that going toe to toe both technically and in speed  with the fan favorite Pat Large. Using his size and strength it looked like Julian would be heading to victory in his debut but after missing and huge moonsault Pat took advantage and beat Whyt with the TightFit.

After the Bout Caden Cassidy made his way to ringside and once again grabbed MJ to carry her off, as Pat tried to stop him he was layed out on the gym floor and Cassidy carried off a confused MJ over his shoulder and out the back.

Next up was The Horror Show with Derek Drexl as he brought out his special Guest Sargent Colby Newsome of the US Army. Colby has been a student of Buddy Wayne's in Washington and is about to be deployed to Iraq and wanted the chance to compete in DOA at least once before he left. That brought out the Persian Prodigy King Khash who gladly said he would beat this so called American hero and send him on his way.

King Khash defeated Colby Newsome by Submission

Colby did everything he could and tried to over power Khash but the experience of the Persian Prodigy paid off as he beat the Army sergeant with his Full Nelson Camel Clutch

After Colby had already submitted Khash refused to release the hold and from out of the back The Gentlemen Brawler Eric Right stormed the ring making the save

Khash was joined by SHAFT partner Manny Rios and as they tried to exit the building Khash stated he would face Eric Right later in the night for his Pure Title Match. The DOA board of directors had other ideas and decided that since Khash had volunteered to face Newsome the Pure Title Match would happen when it was scheduled...right then and there

King Khash defeated Eric Right via Count out

Eric Right came in like a house on fire knocking Khash from pillar to post as the King tried to regain his wits and set a new game plan after the lack of a break between matches. Khash fought back but it wasn't enough as Right was able to sink the Sleeper around the head of Khash, but the king countered sending both men to the floor. As Khash made his way back in the ring, Manny who had hid himself under the ring grabbing Rights foot causing the count out and giving the Persian Prodigy the victory but not the Title

Falls Count Anywhere
Johnny Paradise defeated HBQ Quiz

In a wild contest that saw both men fight all over the entire building and even outside nothing was off limits in the war between HBQ and Paradise. With almost a years worth of hatred for each other we saw both men take it to another level seeing Paradise give Quiz a hurricanrana off the top of the bleachers to the floor. HBQ Curbstomping Paradise's head off the bleachers busting him open and even Quiz crashing thru and flat screen tv. in the end it was Quiz's own pile of chairs he had stacked to use on Johnny that was his downfall being caught mid dive and slammed face first in the 10 or so steel chairs giving Paradise the victory and opening the eyes of the DOA locker room the Johnny Paradise is a very dangerous man

Survivor Series 5 on 5 Elimination Bout
Team Hess (Wade Hess, Dominik Hess, Derek Drexl, Udo, & Sonico)
defeated
Team Kliever (Dr. Kliever, Draven Vargas, Nick Radford, and his mystery partners Big Ugly and his debuting son RJ Bishop)

It was wild, it was crazy, and it was everything you would expect when you mix the young and the old the big and the small all in one ring. Team Hess started with quick tags and had Team Kliever off their game until Big Ugly's experience cut short the high flying Sonico.

Sonico would keep fighting back against all the members of team Kliever but after not being able to make the tag was pinned by Nick Radford.

The unorthodox Udo ( who is still carrying the Dirty Drawers of Doom from the Dr Luther Rumble) was able to take a distracted Radford out for a  quick 3 count but the raging Radford yanked Udo to the outside and with the Help of Draven Vargas injured the ribs of Udo causing the referee to call for the removal of Udo because he could not continue.

Drexl took it to "Your Salvation" Vargas and flew threw the ropes to the outside on Draven as the 2 battled out the door causing a double cont out and a double elimination in the match.

Dominik Hess (son of Wade) was able to use his speed and hit RJ Bishop (Big Ugly's Son) with a spring board stunner eliminating the other 2nd generation DOA star. 

Pissed he had just seen his son eliminated Big Ugly raced in the ring and chopped the young lion like raw meat but just as it looked like Dom's speed would pay off twice Ugly kicked a leap frogging Dominik Hess right in the family jewels causing him to be eliminated but also causing Dominik from being able to continue as Big Ugly and his son RJ walked to the back smiling.

it came down to the 2 team captains and in the end the king of the PNW jungle Wade Hess was able to lift Kliever up on his shoulders and hit him with a 1 Arm Angel Driver for the 3 count making him the sole survivor.

Riddick defeated Caden Cassidy w/MJ

in a battle of the bruiser big men it was a very even contest as Cassidy showed why he's made a reputation as a tough guy against the proven Riddick. After hitting a sickening neck breaker on Riddick, Pat Large stormed the ring to grab his wife MJ that turned into a tug of war as both men pulled on each of her arms. Taking full advantage of the distraction Riddick nailed Cassidy and then yelled to the fans this is for you Sullivan (his former mentor and friend) and delivered Jsin Sullivan patented 2 rope elbow bomb on Cassidy to get the 3 count

In the Main Event
DOA Grand Champion Ethan HD defeated CJ Edwards

in what can only be described as 20 minutes of some of the best wrestling anywhere,
CJ Edwards was a man possessed as he hit the current champion HD with everything he had including a reverse-rana immediately into spiking off the knees rana, and even hit a 450 splash but couldn't keep Ethan down as Ethan was barely able to escape the ring with his Championship run intact

Main Event For the DOA Grand Championship
DOA Grand Champion Ethan HD vs "Lil Chocolate Drop" CJ Edwards

Since his return Ethan HD has taken total control of the DOA title picture by capturing both The Pacific Northwest Championship and The DOA Heavyweight Championship for the unified DOA Grand Championship and has defeated such former champions as Wade Hess, Jonas Albert Robinson, Chris Riddick, and  J-Sin Sullivan cementing his spot as one of the best ever in DOA.

CJ Edwards is a former multi time Pure Wrestling and Tag Team Champion in DOA and has been on a streak rising up the contention ladder since returning from a massive internal injury that happened in July of 2015. Going undefeated stepping in the The Dr Luther Halloween Rumble, Edwards step out in the number 1 position and lasted all the way till the end when he was eliminated by Ethan HD via cheap low blow.

Will the ultimate underdog CJ Edwards shock the DOA Fans and capture lightning in a bottle and win his first DOA Grand Championship or will Ethan continue to do what he's done every defense before and by hook or by crook keep control of the DOA Title Picture

HBQ Quiz vs Johnny Paradise

For close to a year Quiz and Paradise have been making each others lives a living hell first fighting over the DOA Pure Championship and then trying to take each other out of DOA in the ring and in the backstage area. At DOA Halloween Hysteria both men couldn't contain their fight to the ring or even the building first having to be pulled apart by half the DOA Locker Room during their scheduled bout and then they continued battle out to the corner of SE92nd and Harold while the main event rumble was going on in the ring. The DOA Board of Directors have decided to let them fight where ever they want in a Falls Count Anywhere match that is sure to turn hardcore.

Pure Wrestling Championship
"The Gentlemen Brawler" Eric Right vs "The Persian Prodigy"King Khash

King Khash since his debut in DOA last year has always said he is the best Pure Wrestler to ever step foot in a DOA Locker room and has feuded with Mike Santiago over those claims. Those battles ended at Halloween Hysteria when Khash's SHAFT stable mate Ethan HD helped King beat his former American Gun's partner Santiago in a Last Man Standing match. Now back on track to his ultimate goal Khash has challenged the current champ Eric Right for a chance at that title

Like a throwback to a earlier time The Gentlemen Brawler Eric Right has taken his old school roots and knocked down every challenger for the Pure Championship since winning the belt over the summer. Despite disputes over if his Grandma Right's Tonic was a PED (performance enhancing drug) DOA has had the tonic tested and besides the possibility of blindness have found no enhancing quality that can be measured by modern day science. So with Tonic in Hand Right has accepted the challenge of the Persian Prodigy

Will Right continue to keep the DOA Pure and Old school or will the brash young King Khash finally reach his self proclaimed destiny and win the DOA Pure Wrestling Championship

Mike Santiago has been on a quest to finally get his hands on King Khash and got his chance in the Last Man Standing Match at Halloween Hysteria only to be layed out not by Khash but by his former American Guns partner the DOA Grand Champion Ethan HD. Santiago wants revenge but Ethan is refusing to not only meet Santiago in the ring but won't even talk about his former partner in any DOA interviews saying he has enough on his plate with both CJ Edwards and Dr Luther getting upcoming title bouts in November and December. Instead Ethan has told the board that if Mike wants a fight so bad he can have one with his SHAFT cohorts The Mansom One Manny Rios who returns after enjoying some spa and me time in Europe during the month of October.

Cassidy has recently been surrounded in controversy when he kidnapped Pat Large's wife MJ (even tho MJ never realized she had been taken) and had control of Mrs. Large until Pat was able to rescue her during Dr Luthers Rumble at Halloween Hysteria. Will Cassidy be ready for Riddick or will his head still be filled with nothing but MJ

Riddick was last seen at DOA 8 when he was layed out by his mentor and former friend J-Sin Sullivan after giving up his spot for Sullivan to face DOA Grand Champion Ethan HD. Determined to prove he belongs in the DOA Main Event Riddick plans on taking out his anger on Cassidy

Julian Whyt makes his DOA debut against a mainstay and crowd favorite Pat Large at Give till it Hurts.
