 DOA Pro Wrestling presents Stairway to Stardom January 28th 2017 6pm Bell MAIN EVENT THE DOA STAIRWAY TO STARDOM MATCH 30 men and women of the DOA locker room will all compete for the #1 contenders spot to the DOA Grand Championship. The rules of the Stairway to Stardom match are as follows: The Match begins as a Battle Royal with all participants in the ring at once, eliminations will take place if a combatant is thrown over the top rope and both feet hit the floor. Once it is down to the final 6 competitors the rules will change and ladders are added to the equation as the final 6 men will try to ascend to the rafters and retrieve the contract for a DOA Grand Championship Match. As we will officially merge the Top trophies of the Pacific northwest into one unified Championship! DOA Pure Championship Pure Champion King Khash vs former Champion Eric Right 2 months in a row now King Khash has had Eric Rights number. Beating him not once but twice (with help from his SHAFT Partners) by count out and securing the DOA Pure Championship he's been chasing for over a year. The Gentlemen Brawler will get his 1 rematch at Stairway to Stardom and the board of directors to keep things fair have added the stipulation that everyone is ban from ringside! DOA Tag Team Championship DOA Tag Champs The Hess Clan (Wade & Dom) vs The Former Champs Dr. Kliever and Kate Carney Surgical Steel and Sex Appeal The Hess Clan ran the gauntlet last month beating both The Cunninhams and Kliever and Carney to capture the DOA Tag Team Championship. Kliever and Carney say it was nothing more then a fluke and only happened due to ring rust from not tagging together for the past few months. Well Surgical Steel and Sex Appeal will get one more shot at the Tag Straps and have promised to bring home whats theirs In a match rescheduled from Decembers Event Winner Gets MJ Patrick Large vs "White Girl Kryptonite" Caden Cassidy At DOA 8 after beating Patrick Large, Caden Cassidy claimed Pat's Wife MJ as his and carried her off kidnapping her for nearly a month (which we here at DOA are not sure if she even realized she was kidnapped). Then at Halloween Hysteria after being eliminated in the Rumble Pat took the opportunity and rescued MJ from Caden's clutches and back home. Well, at Give till it hurts it continued as Caden stole back Mj at the begging the show and Pat stole her back at the end. "Twas The Fight Before Christmas" Dec. 17th 2016 RESULTS Mike Santiago Defeated Johnny Paradise by Pinfall In the Opening fast paced hard hitting bout, it was Johnny Paradise on a mission from Ethan HD and SHAFT as he attempted to take out Mike Santiago once and for all in DOA. Unfortunately for Johnny after a stiff shot from "Hell-Knee-No" Santiago was able to pin Paradise for the 3. Caden Cassidy defeated Julian Whyt by Pinfall After a few weather cancelations this bout was unadvertised as the brute force known as Caden Cassidy collided with the new kid in DOA The Super Athlete Julian Whyt For the second month in a row Whyt showed just how spectacular he can be in the ring but came up short to the bigger Cassidy after falling victim to the 3 count RockGod Ricky Gibson defeated HBQ Quiz by DQ 2 of the Mainstay roster members and former champions of DOA went to war simply trying to prove who is the better man. After the referee was knocked out by an accidental superkick from HBQ, the RockGod took advantage tossing his Guitar Janice into HBQ's hands and took a fall just as the referee came to causing the disqualification. Knowing he was already DQ'd Quiz snapped and attacked Ricky post match until referees pulled him off. Gibson has filed a complaint to the DOA Board of Directors claiming an unsafe working environment and wanting HBQ punished for not only attacking him but also defiling Janice! DOA Tag Team Championship Gauntlet The Hess Clan defeated 5 other teams to capture the DOA Tag Team Gold The rules were simple, teams squared off 1 on 1 with the winners staying in the ring and the losing team being eliminated. The last team standing would be crowned the DOA Tag Team Champions Gauntlet Match 1 The Human Horror Show Drexl & Wrecker Rollins defeated Your Salvation Draven Vargas and Nick Radford w/Rusty Diamond In a match that saw Radford's nipples almost ripped off after being nippleplexed, nip tossed, purple nurpled, and even receiving titty twisters from the audience members as Rollins held him. After Rollins had pinned Radford, Vargas came in knocked out Drexl with his loaded Bible Gauntlet Match 2 The Cunninghams defeated Drexl and Rollins The Cunninghams were out next in a match that was almost a handicap bout as Wrecker Rollins faced off with both the Hams as Drexl was knocked out cold on the apron. After a missed splash from Big Jack Rollins fell back to his corner and Drexl tagged himself in and was able to knock down Karl Cunningham but Big Jacks size was just to much as he pinned Drexl with his cartwheel splash Gauntlet Match 3 The Cunninhams defeated Buddy's Angels (Rebel Kel and Hawlee Layne) The Debuting Buddy's Angel's surprised the Cunninhams with a high flying offense tailored made by their trainer Buddy Wayne in order to overcome the huge size and strength difference between the girls and the Hams. But no matter what they did it wouldn't be enough as the Cunninhams made short work of the newest women on the DOA roster Gauntlet Match 4 The Hess Clan defeated The Cunninghams It was the father son team of Wade and Dominik Hess taking on the brothers Big Jack and Karl. The Dominating Cunninghams isolated the young lion Dominik in the ring but were not able to keep him down as he and his dad executed a beautiful Indytaker Tombstone on Karl for the 3 Gauntlet Match 5 The Hess Clan defeated Surgical Steel and Sex Appeal Dr Kliever and Kate Carney for the DOA Tag Team Championship The Championship advantage was in full swing as Kliever and Carney were the last team in the Gauntlet and they took full advantage beating down the already weakened Dominik. But in the end it was Wade Hess dropping Kate Carney on her head with a One Arm Angel Driver for the pin Next up SHAFT members Ethan HD, King Khash, and Mansom Manny Rios made their way to the ring demanding a 10 bell salute as Ethan declared that he would be the death of Dr. Luther's career. Ethan said the SHAFT was a well oiled unit and would stand tall together for each of their upcoming matches DOA Pure Wrestling Championship King Khash defeated Eric Right by Count out As per the stipulation after last months event when Eric was counted out against Khash after Manny Rios held on to Right's leg and wouldn't let him back in the ring, If the Champion Right were to lose by count out then he would also lose the title. The Gentlemen Brawler fought hard but not even his Grandma's Tonic could help him beat not only Khash but also Ethan and Rios on the outside and after a distraction and a roaring elbow Eric Right was counted out and DOA has a new Pure Champion in the Persian Prodigy Mansom Manny Rios defeated CJ Edwards It looked like SHAFT had the deck stacked against all their opponents as once again the match turned into a 3 on 1 mugging behind the referee's back. The always crowd favorite Edwards flew high and fast but after being pushed from the top rope it was the Mansom one who got the win Main Event Career vs Career For the DOA Grand Championship Dr. Luther defeated Ethan HD Dr. Luther requested the match be held under no dq no count out rules so that they would guarantee a winner. Ethan acted like he wanted both Khash and Rios to head to the back so that he could wrestle Luther one on one but it was nothing but a trap as all of SHAFT attacked Luther like a swarm of wolves until Drexl and Rollins ran from the locker room taking out Khash and Rios leaving only Luther and Ethan to battle it out. It was wild, it was crazy, and both men almost destroyed the boys and girls club but after both not being pinned even after taking the others devastating finishers it was the veteran Dr. Luther with a quick roll up reversal out of the Curbstomp that got the Doctor the win and the holder of the DOA Grand Championship. After the bout Ethan begged pleaded and threw a temper tantrum but Per the stipulation Ethan can no longer wrestle in the United States! When Ethan refused to leave the ring his former American Guns partner led the charge of Locker Room favorites as they showed HD the door and deposited him in the trash along Harold road. DOA Grand Championship Career vs Career DOA Grand Champion Ethan HD vs Hardcore Legend Dr. Luther At DOA Halloween Hysteria Pacific Northwest and Japanese Hardcore Legend Dr. Luther returned for the first time in over 6 years to the ring for the inaugural "Dr Luther Tricks and Treats Rumble". After winning the huge match DOA Grand Champion always the outspoken one decided to not only tell the Legendary Luther to raise his hand but also had a few choice words. He called the Dr an old washed up has been and told him to get out of his ring. Luther never one to back down from a little verbal sparring stood tall. But as Ethan tried sucker punching Luther the man who made a living terrorizing Japan fired back knocking Ethan out cold with a jumping front kick and then called all the fans to the ring to chant DOA as he powerbombed the brash HD in the center of the ring and challenged him for the DOA Dec 17th event. So the DOA Board of directors signed the match and made it for the DOA Grand Championship which is huge...but it may not be big enough for Ethan HD. After defeating CJ Edwards at Give till it hurts, Ethan and the rest of SHAFT had a lot to say about Twas the fight before Christmas with Ethan laying out a special challenge in return to Dr Luther. Ethan HD wants the career of Dr. Luther!! and is so confident that he is willing to put up his own career along with the DOA Grand Championship up in return. The DOA Board of Directors have been in contact with Dr. Luther and his response was simple "Lets Do This!" So it is on Career vs Career and for the DOA Grand Championship. One man will rule DOA and the other will be GONE! |
