HBQ and The Gentlemen Brawler are 2 of the most loved athletes in DOA and both have held Championship gold through out their careers. All though they are not normal tag team partners they both have a common goal in beating Johnny Paradise and squashing his dreams of ever holding the Pure Title.

Johnny Paradise has made a big splash in DOA since his arrival late last year from southern states. Old School through and through Paradise is tough, skilled, and willing to do anything for a victory. His partner Erick Locker is making his debut at DOA but he's definitely not new to the pro wrestling business. A Buddy Wayne Academy graduate, Locker has spent the last few years at OVW the former developmental promotion for the WWE and has held every major title OVW has multiple times. 

At DOA Best of the Best Johnny Paradise interjected into the amazing Pure Championship Match between Champion HBQ Quiz and contender The Gentlemen Brawler Eric Right causing a no contest. Paradise claims he's the true #1 contender for the Pure Title and wants another shot at the belt. HBQ and Right agreed to a tag team bout and if Paradise (with any partner of his choosing) can win he will get a spot in a 3 way elimination bout for the Pure Championship at the next DOA event.

Will Paradise get his way and into the Future Pure Title Championship match or will HBQ and Eric Right show that good always overcomes evil and send Paradise and the debuting Locker packing?
