Count your blessings. How many times do we hear this in one day really? I think there is something wrong with how religion kept twisting this. There's nothing wrong with crying when you are broke. They will simply suggest that we count our blessings instead of teaching anyone solutions to their real problems. A real problem needed a real solution, not that shortcut "count your blessings" advice. I guess that is my most hated phrase now. I don't think it will ever work for me. Leave a Reply. |
